 Monitor Calibration

You should see twenty (20) distinct shades in the above swatch

Computer monitors and internet technology make it impossible to properly render the continuous tones of a true photographic print. In order to get the best out of HogPhotog's site, you should adjust your monitor's brightness and contrast until the image above properly displays. If you have a gamma setting on your monitor, it should be set to 1.8.

Screen Resolution

This site has been designed to be view in 1024x768 monitor resolution. While this setting is optimal, the site is also viewable at 800x600. (Actually, we've designed it for somewhere in between...) If you are running Windows Internet Explorer, if you hit F11 you will be toggled to Full Screen mode. The site will look best in Full Screen mode if your monitor is set to 800x600 screen resolution.

Warning: AOL users will have problems at 800x600 when using the internet browser built inside the AOL "community". It is suggested that AOL users establish a connection with AOL then use a browser from their desktop (Internet Explorer or Netscape). This holds true for all web sites, not just HogPhotog.
