Blade Recovered Dianne L. Ray Rolling Thunder XIII There's a story about this box. It contains fragments from a helicopter rotor blade that was recovered in May, 1999 from a farmer's field in Vietnam. (It was being used as a fence post). Mike was a door gunner with the 268th Pathfinders. He served with Jerry Elliot, who has been MIA since December, 1968. Mike and Jerry's sister went back to Vietnam, found the blade and placed this box, blade and POW bracelets on Jerry's panel at the Vietnam Memorial. Tributes are often left at the Wall.
