rcabbagemother Bill Ray Daytona Bike Week 2001		Sopotnick's Cabbage Patch in Samsula, FL is the oldest biker bar in the Daytona area. Originallly estabished in 1926 as a corner store and dance hall, Ronnie's great-aunt, Olga Weber (picture in background) began catering to the bikers in in 1956. In the early 50's cabbage was so cheap that it was often plowed over and used for fertilizer - when bikers came into Daytona looking for a place to camp, word soon got around. "Head out Highway 40 till you smell the cabbage". The rest is history.
